Re: XML spec dependencies chart --



Hopefully my original email was read as intended-- I thought that the
diagram was very good-- I thought it diagramed a complex system which is
still growing in complexity.  Sure, I understand the diagram.  When I said
it was confusing, what I actually meant was-- when taking the XML family as
a whole-- a new user might be confused.  The diagram, at the very least,
reduces the confusion by making sense of how the specs fit together.  I
think this is a pretty defensible position, and a small survey that I
conducted supports my hypothesis-- sure it was three people, but there were
no dissenting votes <g/>.  On the other hand I am pretty glad it doesn't
begin to approach the 2898 Internet RFCs.  I am eager to see the animated
version...
