How about 'ill-conceived'? I'm inclined to think that runtime GUI
construction is simply an inappropriate task for XML. The Galeon browser
(based on the Mozilla libraries) reportedly achieves greatly improved
performance over Mozilla, precisely because it doesn't use XUL.
