Perhaps there's no need for another XML Schema syntax and perhaps XML
Schema is best considered a serialization of something else. For a
graphical notation, use UML and get to XML Schema via XMI-2.0. For a
(comprehensible) textual notation, use RNG. Note: either way, you're not
using XML Schema for modelling anymore.
